Well-main­tai­ned holiday home with con­ser­va­tory at Saksild Strand

Welcome to a lovely holiday home in Saksild Strand, not far from a beautiful beach. The holiday home is con­ti­nuous­ly renovated - most recently in 2022.

There is plenty of room for 4 overnight guests in 2 bedrooms with good beds.

The living room has a couch area that invites you to enjoy time with the family, where everyone can relax and talk about what to ex­pe­ri­en­ce during your holiday.

The kitchen is openly connected to the dining area and the living room, so you can play games, be together and cook at the same time.

The house has a heat pump, which provides com­fortab­le heat in a short time when needed, while also being a cheap heating option. The bathroom has a shower and toilet.

The con­ser­va­tory is well furnished and probably where you will spend most of your time during your stay. It is really nice.

Outdoor
The house is sur­ro­un­ded by a large lawned garden with plenty of space for the whole family to play. There is also both an open and closed terrace where you can enjoy both sun and shelter. There's a fire pit in the garden where you can bake small breads on a stick or roast mars­h­mal­lows.

It is ideal to prepare the day's meals on the house's charcoal grill and enjoy the food on the terrace with the family. There are many cosy corners, garden furniture and sun loungers for you to enjoy in peace and quiet.In the garden there are also swings for the smallest children

Location
The holiday home is only 400 metres from the best beach in East Jutland. The sea a the sandy beach is shallow and very child-friendly.

Within walking distance are Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten (pizza) and Strands­hop­pen with various groceries and a new mini golf course from summer 2021. In Saksild you will also find Denmark's oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other and eat tasty ice cream.

If you are looking for an active holiday, you can enjoy the water, cycling or hiking in the beautiful nature in the area. Tip: Bike and paddle hire at Saksild Strand Camping.

The small, cosy harbour of Norsminde is not far away, where you can enjoy an ice cream or dine at the renowned Norsminde Kro.

From Hou, there are daily ferry crossings to the islands of Samsø and Tunø. A day trip to one of these beautiful islands is an obvious choice.

Only 8 km from the holiday home is Odder, which offers a very lovely pe­de­stri­an street with great shopping op­portu­ni­ties, a large selection of shops for groceries and fine sights. Visit "Denmark's largest Kvickly", which offers many great offers and great ex­pe­ri­en­ces.

The bowling centre "Kuglen & Keglen" in Odder also has many outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family, both young and old.

Half an hour's drive away, you can enjoy and ex­pe­ri­en­ce Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city. In Aarhus you will find Den Gamle By, AROS Art Museum, Moesgaard Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden. The city offers a wide range of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shopping and many fine dining options.
