Enjoy life outside
Outside, a peaceful oasis awaits. The house is set on a private plot, a true haven for local wildlife. The garden is frequently visited by deer, bullfinches, nuthatches, and woodpeckers, bringing a sense of connection to nature as you relax and observe the local fauna. The large terrace is perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation, allowing you to enjoy the calm and the sounds of nature. Behind the woodshed, a hidden path leads to Bjergvej, where a well-concealed trail takes you to a fantastic viewpoint at the top of the hill. From here, you can also follow a beautiful descent to the beach, ideal for a morning walk or a peaceful evening by the water.

Dear Guests
We hope you have a wonderful vacation in our vacation home, which is located in the middle of the forest, just 200 meters from the sea, with a large, protected field on the other side of the road.
The property has been in our family since 1960. Back then, we lived in the two black houses, Hytten and Kabørken, until my father built the white Tjæreborg house in 1968—the one you see today. This house means a great deal to our family, and we still use it frequently on weekends. In July and August, we rent it out so others can also experience this special place.
One of the things we love most is the nature and the rich wildlife. Here you can spot great tits, spotted woodpeckers, great spotted woodpeckers, blue tits, greenfinches, and bullfinches, which are often seen in pairs. You might even be lucky enough to spot a roe deer running through the trees, crossing the property, and disappearing again.
We highly recommend exploring the North Coast. In addition to the lovely beaches and beautiful nature, Gilleleje, Tisvildeleje, and Helsinge offer charming small-town life and many cultural events throughout the summer.
We wish you a truly wonderful vacation with plenty of sunshine, relaxation, and great experiences. We hope you’ll love this place as much as we do.
Please take good care of the house—and of each other.
Warm summer regards,
Lars and Hanne Tulin
