Get up close to the local attractions
The location in Klitmøller, also known as Cold Hawaii, makes this holiday home an excellent base for exploring both the sea and Nationalpark Thy. Just a short walk from the house, you'll find the North Sea, where you can enjoy long beach walks, collect seashells, or dive into the waves. The area is a haven for surfers, and you can often see them riding the waves at Krænhavs Sti. If you enjoy hiking, Nationalpark Thy offers a wealth of scenic trails where you can experience the rugged Danish nature up close. The charming town center, with its small shops and cozy cafes, is also not far away and invites you to enjoy lovely moments after your daily adventures.
Remember, you can always borrow wagons, high chairs, and baby beds from us at Feriepartner Thy. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them to us when your holiday is over.

During your stay at Bavnbak 50, in addition to standard activities like swimming, walking across the dune heaths and through the plantations, or visiting well-known attractions in Hanstholm and Thisted, you can simply relax on the terrace at sunset or pick rose hips from the large bushes growing on the property.
A lesser-known excursion is a walk up Isbjerg in the National Park; at 56 meters—a dizzying height for Denmark—it offers an impressive view over much of the dune heath and Lake Nors. A seal safari departing from Agger is another activity sure to delight most people, provided the weather is good.
As a tourist destination, Thy naturally boasts a wide selection of restaurants. Two, in particular, stand out: Det Gamle Røgeri in Thisted and Niels Juel in Klitmøller. Det Gamle Røgeri serves world-class fresh fish from Hanstholm, while Niels Juel offers a high-quality shellfish buffet during the summer season at a very reasonable price—ensuring you certainly won’t go to bed hungry.
