Interior
The house features a spacious living room and a 55 m² open-plan kitchen and dining area with direct access to the covered terrace. From the living room, you can also enjoy views of the charming garden, where deer regularly wander through. There are four comfortable bedrooms, one with two bunk beds and three with double beds, one of which has direct access to the garden. The kitchen is open-plan and includes a dishwasher. From the kitchen window, you can serve your afternoon coffee directly onto the cosy courtyard terrace. The house also offers a bathroom with a shower, a separate toilet, and an outdoor shower with both hot and cold water. Of the three terraces, one is covered, and the garden includes sun loungers, a playhouse, and a swing.
Area/Location
The holiday home is situated in a peaceful area, only 400 metres from a perfect sandy beach, accessible via a cycle path. Rørvig is part of the beautiful Odsherred Geopark, Denmark’s first UNESCO Global Geopark. Here, you will find countless exciting attractions and fantastic routes for exploring the area's unique landscape. Take a walk to Skansehage or around the beautiful Lake Dybesø, for example. At the harbour in Rørvig, children can catch crabs while you shop for fresh fish and perhaps take the cosy ferry to Hundested. Rørvig is home to many excellent restaurants, and during the summer, the popular flea market takes place every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sjælland, you will find excellent shopping opportunities, including a variety of specialty shops offering local produce and artisan goods. The Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg, featuring the children's attraction GlasSpiren, or the Odsherred Museum, showcasing the history of the region, are both well worth a visit. Children will love spending a day at Sommerland Sjælland, which has been named Denmark’s best activity for children.
Be sure to sample the many locally produced foods and wines, and visit the farm shops scattered throughout the beautiful countryside. Explore fascinating museums, including Malergården, the original home of the Swane family of artists. You can also visit the site where the Sun Chariot (Solvognen) was discovered, admire its beautiful gateways, and enjoy a walk through the surrounding area.
