Look forward to a wonderful holiday in this charming log house, situated on a large natural plot with views of the open countryside. The property was completely renovated in 2026, including a new thatched roof, a new kitchen, new flooring throughout the house, and a brand-new first floor with an additional guest toilet. All beams on the ground floor have been treated and now appear almost as good as new.

Welcome Inside
From the outside, it is immediately clear from the dark wooden façade, black window frames, and thatched roof that this is a holiday home full of charm and character. The same impression continues indoors, where rustic wooden walls and ceilings create a warm and inviting atmosphere – including in the three bedrooms and the bathroom on the ground floor. The views are truly outstanding, especially from the first-floor living area, where you can enjoy the sight of the lush natural surroundings and gaze far across the open fields. On the ground floor, the living room and kitchen are seamlessly combined into a welcoming communal space, and a wood-burning stove is ready to create extra coziness on cooler evenings.

Enjoy Life Outdoors
A large part of your holiday will probably be spent outdoors whenever the weather is pleasant. You have access to a lovely covered terrace, perfectly positioned to the south. Thanks to its sunny location, the terrace not only enjoys plenty of sunlight but also offers beautiful views of the open landscape. From the natural plot, you can even catch glimpses of the Wadden Sea.

Experience the Local Attractions
With such a beautiful location, you hardly need to leave the area to enjoy Rømø’s stunning natural surroundings. If you do decide to explore, there is plenty to see and experience. The house is located close to the island’s east coast and the Wadden Sea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. By car or bicycle, you can quickly reach the west coast, where you can swim in the North Sea and stroll along the wide sandy beach at Lakolk.Near the holiday home, you will find Rømø’s popular butcher shop, and it is also just a short distance to Hattesgaard, which offers both antiques and delicious homemade cakes in its café. Only a few hundred metres away is Naturcenter Tønnisgård, which organizes exciting guided tours and nature experiences for both children and adults.

On the Wadden Sea island Rømø a unique landscape is waiting to be explored, especially the wide sandy beaches, that provide unforgettable memories. Rømø offers a variety of activities, including different forms of wind sports that only can be practiced in few places in Europe. There are two ways to reach Rømø - the causeway that connects Rømø to the mainland, and the ferry that shuttles between the popular German island Sylt and Rømø. This opens a variety of excursion options.
