The summer house was expanded in 1995 and sub­sequent­ly renovated con­ti­nuous­ly. The latest in 2025 with a new bathroom. Eve­ryt­hing appears well-main­tai­ned, bright and modern.

When outdoor life becomes part of the holiday

Welcome inside
Inside you will find a well-main­tai­ned 95 m² summer house with space for six guests spread over three bedrooms. The house has been con­ti­nuous­ly renovated, most recently with a new bathroom in 2025, and the bright living room provides a nice setting for the hours when you gather inside. The kitchen is directly connected to the living room, so you can be part of the community while you prepare the day's meals. There is both room for quick lunches and longer dinners, where you can talk about the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces. When the weather doesn't invite you to enjoy the terrace, you can light up the wood-burning stove and enjoy the warmth. The house also has a heat pump with cooling, so you can adjust the tem­pe­ra­tu­re according to the season. The three bedrooms have double beds, and the bathroom gives you a simple and practical base when the day starts and ends. From the living room there is direct access to the terrace, so the tran­si­tion between inside and outside feels natural.

Enjoy life outside
The large wooden terrace is an obvious gathering point during the day. It is partially covered, so you can choose between sun and shade depending on the time of day, while the sheltered location makes it easy to find peace outside. Start the day with a cup of coffee in the open air, let lunch take a little longer, and find the barbecue when hunger strikes at the end of the day. The terrace is large enough for everyone to join in without it feeling cramped, and it is located right next to the living room, so you can easily go back and forth between outside and inside. On hot summer days, you can also take advantage of the outdoor shower after a walk at the beach and rinse off the sand and salt before settling back on the terrace. When the dew falls, outdoor life doesn't have to end right away - the covered part gives you the op­portu­ni­ty to stay a little longer and listen to the sounds of summer. Here, the terrace doesn't just become a place you go out to sit, it can be the setting for many of the best hours of your holiday.

Get up close to­t­he­lo­cal at­tra­ctions
From Strand­parks­vej 49 you are only about 300 meters from the coast, so you can make a trip to the beach a com­ple­te­ly spon­ta­neous part of the day. Saksild Strand is cha­ra­cte­rized by its fine sandy beach and family-friendly coast, and you can easily pack a towel, put on your swimsuit and go without having to plan anything in advance. When you want to ex­pe­ri­en­ce more of the area, you can take a trip to Odder, where you will find shops, cafes and good shopping op­portu­ni­ties. You can also visit the Økologiens have, which is perfect for an excursion if you want to combine nature and in­spira­tion. If you feel like a little more city life, Aarhus is about a 20-minute drive away. Here you can spend a day ex­pe­ri­en­cing art, culture, shopping or a walk along the river and harbor. You can also let the trip go along the coast and ex­pe­ri­en­ce some of the smaller places on the Odder coast along the way. The great thing about the house's location is that you get a beach vacation, and you can still fill one or more days of your vacation with new ex­pe­ri­en­ces when you feel like going a little further away.
