Around the holiday home, you will find several lovely terrace areas, making it easy to find a sunny spot throughout the day. Enjoy your morning coffee outdoors, have lunch on the terrace and light the barbecue on the covered terrace as evening approaches. You will also find a flagpole on the terrace, allowing the Danish flag to be raised and adding a special holiday atmosphere to your stay.

The holiday home is located just 500 metres from the beach at St. Sjørup and close to the exceptionally beautiful nature around Randers Fjord.
Here, you can enjoy walks along the water, take in the open landscapes and experience the area's rich birdlife. The peaceful surroundings make this an ideal place for a holiday close to nature, while there are also plenty of opportunities for excursions around Djursland and the Randers Fjord area.
Charming towns and historic market towns, amusement parks, zoos, churches, museums, castles and many other attractions are all within reach when you would like your holiday to offer a little more than relaxing in the garden. There are plenty of possibilities to choose from.

What We Love Most About Our Holiday Home
Whenever we arrive at our holiday home in Store Sjørup, it feels as though our shoulders automatically relax. There is a special sense of peace here, and we love spending time together in the spacious open-plan kitchen and living area. This is where we gather for long meals, coffee, games and good conversations – and when the wood-burning stove is lit, it becomes even cosier.
We also love the garden. It is large and beautiful, and with several terraces, there is always a lovely spot to find either sunshine or shade. The enclosed garden is especially important to us because the children can play freely and the dog can run around without us having to keep an eye on them all the time. It gives us a wonderful sense of freedom and makes it easy to simply spend time together and enjoy our holiday.
We also make the most of the area surrounding the house. A trip to the beach is almost always part of our stay, and we love taking little excursions to Fjellerup Strand – especially when there is an ice cream to be enjoyed! There are also woods nearby and plenty of opportunities for walking and cycling if you feel like getting out and exploring the beautiful North Djursland area.
For us, this is a place where there is room for everyone and everything. It is perfect for families with children who need space to play and want to bring their dog on holiday, but equally lovely for a group of adults who simply want to enjoy a few relaxing days together, cook good food, share a glass of wine and enjoy each other's company.
Perhaps the very best thing about our holiday home is simply that you quickly feel at home – and find yourself wishing you could stay just a little longer.
