Welcome inside

Step inside to bright, modern surroundings with plenty of space for up to 32 guests to enjoy a holiday together. The natural heart of the house is the large open-plan living area, where the kitchen, dining area and lounge flow seamlessly into one another. Here, you can gather around the table for long meals, cosy evenings and good conversations, while cooking becomes part of the shared experience. The spacious kitchen offers plenty of worktop space, allowing several people to join in when preparing breakfast, a leisurely holiday lunch or a festive dinner.

The holiday home also has a large activity room, where both children and adults can easily spend hours having fun. There is plenty of opportunity for games, entertainment and friendly holiday competitions when the weather calls for indoor activities or when you want to round off the evening with a little fun. This gives the house wonderful flexibility, allowing some guests to enjoy a quieter moment while others keep the holiday spirit going with games and activities.

The indoor pool area provides another wonderful place to gather. Here, children and adults alike can enjoy many happy holiday hours in the indoor saltwater pool. The salt water makes for a pleasant swimming experience, and the pool invites you to enjoy everything from fun and games to relaxation and quiet moments after a day in the fresh air.

The pool area also features a spa, where you can sit back and enjoy the soothing warmth. For an extra touch of wellbeing, settle into the sauna, where the view of the sea makes the experience particularly special. Relax in the warmth while looking out towards the sea and harbour. It is a wonderful way to unwind after an active day.

The sleeping accommodation is thoughtfully distributed, making the house particularly suitable for larger groups looking for both togetherness and flexibility. There are 9 bedrooms in total: 2 family rooms sleeping 5 guests each, 5 bedrooms with double beds and 2 bedrooms, each with 2 bunk beds. In addition, there are 4 mattresses in the loft, providing extra sleeping space and a cosy little holiday hideaway, especially for children and teenagers. With 4 bathrooms and a separate guest toilet, the house also offers plenty of practical comfort when many guests are holidaying under the same roof.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, the holiday continues across the lovely terrace areas surrounding the house.

At the front of the house, you will find a south-facing terrace where you can start the day with your morning coffee, fresh air and a peaceful holiday atmosphere.

The other terrace offers views across the harbour towards the sea and features several comfortable seating areas, dining spaces and plenty of room for the whole group to gather. Settle into a sun lounger, fire up the barbecue and let the day unfold at an easy pace while the children play on the lawn.

The outdoor hot tub adds another touch of wellbeing to your stay. Here, the view becomes part of the experience as you relax in the warm water and simply enjoy the moment.

Throughout the outdoor areas, the views create a wonderful sense of being close to the coast, adding something special to the holiday atmosphere and naturally encouraging you to slow down. And with just 250 metres to the beach and harbour, the coast is never far away.

For younger guests, there is an exciting play castle and a trampoline.

There are also good parking facilities and 2 EV charging points.

Get up close to the local attractions

The area around Bønnerup Strand offers everything you could wish for from a relaxing coastal holiday: beautiful countryside, peaceful surroundings, fresh sea air and easy access to a lovely beach. Spend your days at your own pace with walks along the coast, fishing trips, beach days and leisurely moments by the harbour.

In Bønnerup, you will find both the local Brugsen supermarket and fishmonger, both open throughout the year. This makes Bønnerup a great holiday destination in every season, whether you are picking up freshly baked bread for breakfast, shopping for dinner or bringing fresh fish back to the holiday home for a delicious meal. You will also find small shops where you can browse and enjoy a taste of the local atmosphere.

The harbour is a natural gathering point in the area, with plenty of atmosphere around both the marina and fishing harbour. Find a spot for lunch with views of the boats, or pick up freshly caught fish from the local fishmonger, which is open all year round. During the summer, the harbour also hosts the annual summer festival, bringing holiday atmosphere and local life together.

The beach at Bønnerup is one of the area's highlights. It has Blue Flag status and is particularly suitable for children, with shallow water and a sandy seabed. Younger guests can splash safely at the water's edge while the adults enjoy the sunshine, the views and the sound of the waves. There is plenty of room for swimming, building sandcastles and spending long days with bare feet in the sand.

If you feel like exploring farther afield, there are plenty of experiences within easy reach. Around half an hour away by car is Djurs Sommerland, Scandinavia's largest amusement park, where the whole family can look forward to rides, a water park and a fun-filled day together. You can also visit the old market town of Grenaa, home to the Kattegat Centre, where sharks, penguins and fascinating marine life offer an exciting glimpse beneath the surface of the sea.

The countryside of Djursland also offers plenty of little adventures. Pack a picnic and head to Sangstrup Klint, where the beautiful coastal scenery provides the perfect setting for a break overlooking the water. You can also go fossil hunting and perhaps discover traces of the past in the form of fossils and fossilised sea urchins. Meilgaard Castle and Sostrup Castle are also worth exploring, adding a touch of cultural history and fairytale atmosphere to your holiday.

Across Djursland, experiences await both children and adults. Within approximately half an hour to an hour by car, you will find wildlife parks, attractions, shopping, restaurants, outdoor activities and plenty of beautiful countryside. And wherever your adventures take you, the sea is never far away, a peaceful reminder that you are holidaying in a place where nature, the coast and memorable experiences go hand in hand.
