Bratten
North of Frederikshavn, you will find the holiday resort of Bratten. Here you will be close to green surroundings and wonderful beaches. You will be better off exploring the area on a bicycle or on foot to find the many hidden trails leading to idyllic natural resorts. Get up close and personal with nature, listen to the buzzing of insects and explore the beautiful flora.

Hulsig
In the most northerly part of Northern Jutland, you will find the cosy holiday town of Hulsig.
You will quickly discover that Hulsig is surrounded by spectacular nature. As a matter of fact, you will practically find it in your back garden. Natural phenomena such as Råbjerg Mile – the largest shifting dune in the Nordic countries – and the luxuriant Skagen Klitplantage are just a short drive from the small holiday town.
From Hulsig, you will also have direct access to a number of the beautiful beaches in Northern Jutland. You can enjoy the calm water and wide beaches by Kattegat or jump into the wild waves of the North Sea for thrills and excitement.

Kandestederne
South of Skagen, you will find Kandestederne, surrounded by tranquility and pristine rugged nature.
The area is known for its stunning dune landscapes and wide sandy beaches. This also makes Kandestederne the perfect place for long walks and sunbathing. Near Kandestederne, you will find the impressive natural phenomenon Råbjerg Mile, among the largest shifting dunes in Europe which is why it draws Danish and foreign holidaymakers alike.
From Kandestederne, you also have direct access to Skiveren Strand, a true paradise for kite surfers and nature enthusiasts. The wide beach is surrounded by dunes and has been awarded the Blue Flag certification.

Napstjert
Napstjert is known for the surroundings full of nature that you find in these parts of Northern Jutland. Here you can gambol in surroundings filled with wide sandy beaches, heather-covered moors and small woodlands.
Especially in the moor- and woodlands, you may be lucky to see a deer, a hare or experience the rich bird life that is on show here. So go hiking or jump on a bicycle to explore these special natural surroundings.
Napstjert is located between Skagen and Frederikshavn. So you are within relatively short distance of the well-known and picturesque surroundings of Skagen and the maritime history of Frederikshavn in the streets and alleys in the town.

Skagen Strand og By
The charming summer resort of Skagen is known for its famous painters among other things. A cultural legacy which the town residents are incredibly proud of and cherish. Something you will quickly sense when walking around the streets and alleys in the town. Here you will find a number of paintings and well-known museums such as Skagens Museum.
The beaches of the town are perfect for sunbathing and water play. The beaches feature white fine sand and clear water.
